Michael D Schauber Photography

My name is Michael David Schauber, and I am an Eastern Shore Native. I studied professional photography at CMC (Colorado Mountain College) in Glenwood Springs, CO. I received my degree within their photography program through Isaacson Media School. I’ve seen and experienced a lot in my life/travels, and I want to share my experiences with the world through my photographs.

I found my aesthetic and grew into a Fine Art Photographer emphasizing in black and white. Landscapes, nature, and wildlife are my muse. I aim to enhance the inherent glow within the immense beauty all around us. I use form, texture, balance, and layers to illustrate our world through photographs. Compositionally showing people the beauty that is passed by each and every day....

All I want to do is influence, and change people with my imagery. I want to make people question the world and how things work. Get them thinking outside the box to better understand the world around them.

Telling a story or evoking an emotion through my photographs is something I strive for. A photograph is a moment in time that is saved forever. The allure in that scene will forever live on as a record of the earth around us.

I find that my unique, and creative sensibilities help to make my artistic work express my particular view on things. Through my perspective with a camera, I share those specific and unusual views through my viewfinder. I want to approach the natural world delicately, and capture it in a simplistic way that uses the graphic elements within the landscape to emphasize its inherent glow.

“Learn the rules like a professional, so you can break them like an artist.”
